Apology – System Issues from Monday Update

Please accept my apology on behalf of the Visual Matrix team. We issued an important software code release on Monday, October 7th at 8:00 AM CST to improve how credit card payments are captured. This release improves the timing and security of collecting payments for your hotel.

We missed the mark on this release. While only a segment of our clients experienced issues, we take this miss personally and immediately focused all resources on fixing the problems. 

We know that our clients depend on us for stable and reliable PMS software. We know that your success depends on it. We are using this as an opportunity to adjust our software release process. Going forward we plan to implement small releases, more frequently. We will put all major changes behind what we call a Feature Flag. This means we can make big changes but only turn them on after they are road-tested as fully operational.
